Power Transformers R&D Center

ILJIN Electric’s Power Transformers R&D Center is a technology‑driven organization that leads the development of power equipment, designing and engineering a wide range of high‑voltage transformers from 154kV up to 765kV.
By supplying specialized, high‑reliability products tailored to the needs of major utilities and industrial customers, the Center has continuously built up advanced, high value‑added transformer technologies optimized for real‑world operating conditions.
Leveraging core capabilities in high efficiency, low loss, low noise, and compact/lightweight design, ILJIN Electric is developing special‑purpose transformers through demonstration‑oriented projects to meet diverse market requirements, including eco‑friendly insulating oils, gas‑insulated transformers, seismic‑resistant designs, mobile transformers, and solutions for renewable‑energy integration.
